Presenting the third track from our debut album, "Before this Howl Dies"
The song evokes a need to seize the moment, to squeeze every drop of life out of a single instance of being... before the "howl" dies. The howl is both literal and metaphorical, meaning a sudden squall on the open ocean that can inspires fear and adrenaline, but also the howl of youth that one never wants to forget. The song's composer, captain Erick Mahood, mixes seafaring imagery with nostalgic memories from childhood, seeing both as something that you know will pass but that you want to hold on to forever.
The video consists mainly of footage from the band's stops in the idyllic bay of Tenacatita, as well as Barra de Navidad. Written before the spiritual and emotional toll of such a long journey had been exacted, the footage depicts care free early days enjoying the tropical Mexican coastline.
